URL Submissions

They are several ways to advertise your site/s which is submitting your URL's to search engines the most popular one is Google, which do take time to show up on the google search engine.

I have submitted my site URL FTA to other search engines yet to be displayed.

Have you submitted to search engines if so which one do you think is best?

Google is the biggest, so I think it's the best for submissions. Yahoo would be a close second.

Some of the search terms seem to be a little weird though. =P

Don't forget MSN. They get a lot of hits too. ;)

They may, but compared to google; MSN, Yahoo, Ask, and others have no where near the numbers that google does. The fact is google really is the leader in the field. There are of course many search engines to submit to.

If you type in Google or Yahoo "Free URL Submissions" it will give you a list of sites allowing you to submit your URL to quite a few websites.

Here is a site i came across to show you, you can submit to 34 websites free

http://www.nexcomp.com/weblaunch/submiturlfree.html

All you do is enter your URL and also a email which allows you to see if they have accepted.

To see what sites your site will be submitted to click on "Show Options" you can uncheck any of them its your choice :)

Yes, that is true but it never hurts to add MSN or other small search engines.

This is my favorite site for URL Submissions. Submits your URL to over 100 forums.

Don't give your real email address though. Get a free hotmail one and enter that.

my website shows up on good msn and yahoo?. it only took 1day to show up on all of them, but my site ranking is low ^^.

best way to submit your site is to join the google webmaster thing and add your site and sumbit and prove it is your by addign a google ???????????.html to your site to prove it then in 1 day it will be on there.
