Alright, as forum owners we know there are two choices, Fluid, or fixed, now in proboards fluid is a bit harder to pull off unless like me, you know the CSS to make a banner that works. but what are your thoughts on fluid vs. fixed. Is it to hard to do fluid? is fixed becoming to limited these days?

A fluid look is often more original. A fixed look can work, and on a professional board, it's often the best. I have done a fluid look already, and it works really well. Designs forums especially, it works really well. You should modify your board as much as possible; give it that original look.

If you're aiming for something that looks more complexing, I'll say fluid. But that, as said above, can REALLY be a pain in the arse to code.
Otherwise, If you're after simplicity, fixed will win. But with a fixed design, originality dies. So, if someone goes fixed, another Billy-Joe-Bob could have precisely the exact same design, but a different topic.

Fluid, all the way. It's important to show your board is original, and for new members the best way to show your board fills that requirement is fluid webdesign. Also, it makes your board look awesome!
